The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) Detroit Chapter represents a new way of thinking about collaboration with like-minded professionals while promoting and developing individual career goals. Membership is open to professionals and students in all disciplines of communications. The local organization was established in 1938. The chapter was founded through the efforts of Theta Sigma Phi (TSP) alumni from various Michigan schools.
