Sustainable Detroit has been providing information, inspiration and networking for the Detroit sustainability movement since 2004.

Description of Organization

Sustainable Detroit has primarily provided this service through a website directory and email listservs connecting the community. In 2009, Sustainable Detroit was reorganized with support from key sustainability anchor organizations: Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice, The Greening of Detroit, Transportation Riders United, and WARM Training Center. It is the proud host of the Detroit and Metro Detroit Open Greenmaps. We believe Detroit is a laboratory for the 21st century. Come help us make the experiment fruitful at sustainabledetroit.org.
