Join us in the Demonstration Kitchen at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital for healthy cooking classes featuring our extraordinary and creative in-house chefs and exciting guest chefs. Each class features delicious, healthy meal ideas to get you started on your individual path toward optimal wellness.
Our 90 seat kitchen auditorium features a variety of classes each month. Here you can enjoy a meal and learn to prepare tasty, healthy food for the whole family, even people with special medical conditions.
The Demonstration Kitchen also has a dk Kids program. The dk Kids classes are designed to teach kids the importance of making healthy choices along with learning how to create delicious and nutritious meals.
Each class is interactive and teaches the essential elements needed to create sucessful meals in the kitchen while having fun:
- Safety in the kitchen
- Smart shopping
- Preparation technique
- Presentation
- Education (including special medical conditions like gluten sensitivity or lactose intolerance)
