Organization’s Description
We strive to help the people of Southeast Michigan take better care of their natural resources and better utilize the services of local, state and federal agencies, while improving their community’s economy, environment and quality of life.
Council efforts serve Lenawee, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties and the City of Detroit.
We place special emphasis on natural resources, but activities that improve local economies, living standards, historical preservation, and other issues can also be addressed. Local councils identify and solve problems by obtaining assistance from business, government, foundations and local citizens.
