OU INC is a multi-functional incubator, located on the east side of Oakland University’s campus in Oakland County. OU INC advances the economic strength of the region by transitioning industry and university innovations into commercial successes. It fosters a healthy environment for the growth of new start-up companies as we well as provides support for existing entities through its facility and resources

OU INC leverages the resources of the university and its strategic partners, including Oakland County’s Medical Main Street network, to provide entrepreneurial resources and strategic business solutions for accelerating ideas to market. OU INC is a state designated SmartZone Business Accelerator, in collaboration with the City of Rochester Hills, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and various industry partners.

OU INC’s focus is in Clean Energy, Medical Device, Information Technology and Advanced Automotive Technology sectors with both domestic and international business. The facility has 33,000 sq. ft. of space, including common areas, a high technology training center, lease space for company technology development and demonstration, and tenant office space. OU INC has a list of subject matter experts that serve as mentors and business advisers to clients.
