VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY-Oakland County Farmers Markets
This opportunity is for Oakland County Master Gardener Volunteers only. We only have access to Oakland County MG records to send reminders/information along to volunteers. When a volunteer from another county signs up for an Oakland County Farmers Market there is no way to contact them causing stress to the people taking leadership for this large volunteer effort.
The event brought nearly 60 farmers and 20-plus professionals from all over Michigan on March 7 to Michigan State University’s Brody Neighborhood. Together, we shared a day of research findings, discussion of how the research can be used in production and then farmers identified questions that should be addressed in future research projects.
