Leading Global organization in the field of High Tech Electronic Components, LED manufacturing firm is actively seeking a direct hire full time candidate with a background in Lighting, LED’s, Semi-conductors, Instrument Panels, Clusters, Diodes, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Oscilloscopes, Optics, Integrated Electronics, and electronic components for Non-automotive interior and exterior Lighting applications.

Qualified Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Optical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering & 3-7 years of experience working with in the engineering field in automotive or non-automotive electronic components & commercial products.

Role and Responsibility

Selected candidate would be responsible for previously existing commercial and consumer electronics customer account base Located in from Denver to the east coast of the U.S. and would be working with design and systems engineers, as well as departments in implementing the product portfolio into the clients manufacturing applications, by delivering technical presentations and product portfolio leveraging Sales Engineer’s technical understanding of the LED advantages to educate customers and show the benefits of LED lighting technologies based on thermal, color and other technical attributes.

Sales Engineers will be an integral part of the selection process with regards to the integration of the electronic components into customer applications & design process.

Account maintenance responsibilities for customer base will be inclusive of providing accurate pricing, delivery, timing, qualification of technical information & product support. Communication with clients and internal departments on blanket orders, yearly volume increases and or product changes that arise for programs under your responsibility.

In addition to maintaining and growing the development of existing business within customer accounts under candidates responsibilities, Sales engineers will also provide technical information and develop relationships with new potential customers whom may benefit from the product portfolio & have made inquires about the product portfolio previously.

Long term objectives/Technical strengths

Application design for Forward lighting and illumination, understanding of optical, thermal and electrical challenges is highly desirable.

Assisting in development of a network of electronics/optics/thermal substrate suppliers and work with them to make mock ups and create partnerships for providing high flux/high powered LED systems would be a long term objective
