She has appeared on CNN and the PBS NewsHour as a special correspondent reporting on Detroit’s financial crisis\, Michigan politics\, and 2016 Presidential election. As an Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter\, McDonald connected with Detroit viewers for 10 years on WXYZ-TV on the big stories\, from 9/11 in New York to political corruption in the city of Detroit.
