SUMMARY:MEECA’s 5th Annual Banquet & Awards Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\n\nWith early spring comes the MEECA Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony\, formerly known as the “Annual Gala.” Regardless of its name\, this event is widely recognized as our organization’s premier networking and fundraising opportunity that everyone looks forward to each year. \nThe 2019 Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony returns to the Kellogg Center on the banks of the Red Cedar River on MSU’s main campus in East Lansing. This location is easily accessible from all directions and includes covered parking in case of inclement weather. Once again\, we will occupy the Lincoln Room. We are also pleased to announce that DNVGL has graciously decided to be this year’s Title Sponsor once again. \nThe evening will begin with a late afternoon reception that features hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. Among our guests we expect MPSC Commissioner Dan Scripps\, Kara Cook from Gov. Whitmer’s office\, and several staff members from MPSC and the Michigan Energy Office. The program will continue with a formal welcome\, plated dinner\, keynote speech by Mr. Scripps\, and awards ceremony. The award categories this year include: \n\nResidential Contractor of the Year\nCommercial & Industrial Contractor of the Year\nResidential Implementation Contractor of the Year\nCommercial & Industrial Implementation Contractor of the Year\nProject of the Year (one award across R/C/I sectors)\nEnergy Advisor of the Year\n\nWe will conclude with the popular dessert bar to ensure plenty of networking with friends and colleagues.
