DESCRIPTION:As part of the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Fall in Construction\ncampaign from May 7-11\, 2018\, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA)\, Walsh Construction Company are joining together to host a safety stand-down\nevent at the construction site of the new state-of-the art Flex-n-Gate Detroit manufacturing\nfacility set to open in October.\n\nMedia representatives are invited to attend to see a demonstration of proper fall protection gear and see workers in action on the building project. Remarks will also be given by MIOSHA and Walsh Construction officials. \nFalls continue to be the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Michigan. Hazard elimination\, proper training\, and use of fall protection can change these numbers.
