I began my first experience with the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers full of apprehension for what the night might hold. My nervousness was quickly relieved by a beautiful and lively performance by Foxtrot Ball Room Champions, Pamela More and Kevin Collins. With a smile already on my face, Satori Shakoor, our guide for the night, danced her way up on stage to introduce the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers to the night’s virgins. My first time attending a Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers event was extremely enjoyable. The theme of the night’s stories was Pride and Prejudice, and I was sure in for a treat. I walked in a little bit late and was met with the sweet voice of a young girl. Her name was Hannah Wise, as she was aptly named.
