LEDs Have Made It To The Detroit Skyline
The Ally Detroit Center at 500 Woodward Avenue recently began a transition of its outdated lighting infrastructure to an energy efficient LED system. Given recent advances in lighting technology, LEDs are now viable for all lighting applications and offer business, non-profit, and government facilities as a novel means to impact their bottom lines. With the ability to utilize LED technology for general illumination needs, facilities now have the opportunity to reduce their lighting energy consumption by upwards of 75%, which can mean tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in electricity savings.
