Recycle Here! provides the City of Detroit with a community based recycling program that focuses on sustainability and education.

Organization’s Description

Recycle Here! was formed in 2005 to address the need for recycling options in the City of Detroit. What began as a grassroots, neighborhood, recycling event has evolved into a city-wide, fully-funded, neighborhood recycling program.

From January 2007 to present, Recycle Here! has recycled over 4, 400,000 pounds of material from over 73,000 visits from Detroit residents. Where does Detroit recycle? Recycle Here!
