In support of the OakGreen Challenge, Oakland County is offering a free workshop to local governments and school districts on Portfolio Manager, EPA ENERGY STAR’s energy benchmarking tool for buildings.
The workshops will be held at the Oakland County Executive Office Building, 2100 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328, in the computer learning environment, March 23, 2011, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.. Register at http://www.oakgov.com/oakgreen/events to sign up, bring your energy bills to set up or maintain your account, and learn how to use this powerful tool to track and manage your building’s energy use.
Just like knowing your own vital signs is essential to understanding your health, knowing how much energy your buildings use is essential to the health of your organization.
Portfolio Manager is a free, online tool that enables you to track building energy use, compare others throughout the nation, create custom reports, and apply for the Energy Star Building label.
Through this free training, you can learn how to us this powerful, yet simple tool to get a handle on your energy use.
