The Hunger Games. It’s the biggest book series for young adults, and Ferndale Schools and Ferndale Public Library are cashing in on the buzz to get kids reading in a big way. Ferndale Middle School, in partnership with Ferndale Public Library presents FMS is Reading…The Hunger Games, a series of events and book discussions for kids, centered around The Hunger Games.
The Ferndale Public Library will hold three events, a Tween book discussion on Thurs. Feb. 9th, a Hunger Games trivia contest on Saturday, Feb. 11th and a Hunger Games Final Party on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Kids must register for the first two events to attend. Attendees will get put into a drawing to be a part of a field trip to see The Hunger Games feature film.

Tween the Pages Book Discussion: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Thursday, February 9, 2012, 6:30-7:30. Registration required. Come and discuss the book with other kids in the community
The Hunger Games Trivia Contest
Saturday, February 11, 2012, 3 – 4pm. Registration required. A prize will be awarded to the top trivia player or team. Questions will only be taken from The Hunger Games. Are you ready?
The Hunger Games Final Party
Saturday February 25, 2012, 3:00-4:30. No registration required.
Featuring another trivia contest on Catching Fire and Mockingjay, games and more. Are you prepared to defend your district?
