It is my pleasure to inform you that Councilmember-Elect Scott Benson (District 3) has
agreed to take over the leadership of the Detroit City Council Green Task Force effective in
2014.
I have provided the Councilmember-Elect with a package of materials regarding the Task
Force’s legislative history, initiatives, and current activities. I have also given him a
listing of email addresses for the Task Force’s membership.
Therefore, I would anticipate that once Scott has settled into his new role he will inform
you of when he plans to reactivate the GTF. Once again, it has been my honor not only to
serve you but also to work with you in promoting a sustainability agenda for the City of
Detroit.
