Suzanne Tegen, project leader at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), will provide a summary of the domestic wind workforce report published by NREL in 2013, including results from a survey of more than 400 wind industry companies: job types, training requirements, and what must happen in the United States for the wind industry workforce to achieve 20% wind by 2030.
NREL’s Ian Baring-Gould will provide an update on the DOE Collegiate Wind Competition, which will take place in the spring. He will also provide a quick update on the Wind for Schools project, which is no longer funded by DOE.
