The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is currently seeking enthusiastic multifamily industry practitioners with the experience and vision to help define and promote advanced professional certifications for Multifamily Quality Control Inspectors and Multifamily Retrofit Project Managers in the home performance industry.
Individuals who are interested in serving on a multifamily certification scheme committee are invited to submit their credentials via an online application by Friday, January 24, 2014. Appointed multifamily scheme committee members must be available to participate in a three-day meeting, March 4-6, 2014, in Golden, Colorado. Reimbursement for travel costs up to a fixed amount, and a travel per diem will be awarded to individuals selected for participation. In order to best reflect the current industry, please share this opportunity with multifamily leaders in your network. This effort is part of the U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program’s Guidelines for Home Energy Professionals project, which is focused on supporting the growth of a high-quality weatherization and home performance industry, and a skilled and credentialed workforce. Additional questions may be sent to workforce.guidelines@nrel.gov. |
