Enclosed is a link to the Tribute video shown and photos taken at the Ken V. Cockrel, Jr. Retirement celebration 1-16-2014. Over 400 people braved blizzard conditions to celebrate Cockrel’s 20 years of public service, 16 of which were on the Detroit City Council.
Ken was the youngest person elected to City Council and the First President in the City Council’s history to be elevated to the office of Mayor.
