On September 6th, #TEAMWMEAC will embark on the first Climate Ride Midwest – four days, 300 miles from Grand Rapids to Chicago! We join 200 bicyclists from across the Midwest and the country to support climate resiliency, clean energy, environmental health and active transportation!
Nick and Anne Marie –from our policy and community activism team, Matt Bergevin, a dedicated volunteer, and Rachel Hood, WMEAC Executive Director, are #TEAMWMEAC.
We are writing today to ask you to help support this terrific education and outreach opportunity. Between today and August 29th, the WMEAC Climate Ride team must raise just over $6,000. If 1,000 of you – our 10,000 active followers – were to give $6.00 each, we could easily raise the $6,000 we need to meet our goal. Can you share a gift of $6, $10, $15 or $20 to help us reach our $14,000 goal?
Your contributions will allow us to educate and advocate for environmental protection through local press events in lakeshore communities along the ride. They will also provide long term support to WMEAC’s advocacy fund to support climate resiliency education and action in West Michigan.
