A new monthly opportunity presents itself through a reformatted Pinnacle Group which only seeks C-Suite executives or business owners to help one another and contribute to good causes too. The event at Triple Nickel in Birmingham last Thursday evening provided the perfect setting for members and guests to enjoy old friends and new acquaintances in a relaxed and “happening” setting. “Don’t take any wooden nickels” was the secret code to gain entrance and enjoy the great appetizers and cocktails, music and cool breezes on the top floor of this new restaurant in the 555 Woodward Ave. building. The sounds of Cool Music by renown vocalist Shirley Hayden of Funkadelic fame, saxophonist Richard Adams, Ernest Walker on trumpet, and incomparable jazz guitarist, Jerome Clark was heard from the streets below through the open accordion-style windows of the restaurant and set the energetic tone for the evening. Restaurant Manager Zoran spoke about the concept of the six week old venue and showed why owners Marc and Trina Blancke’s new Triple Nickel is destined to be part of the Birmingham scene long into the future. Pinnacle Group owners Ron Vaughn and Stephan Sadler explained the groups’ purpose and goals.
The Pinnacle Group was started by a few business owners with a simple goal in mind: Allow business owners to meet with other business owners and help one another get to the next level in their business or career. One founder described it as an opportunity for business leaders to connect with other business leaders for the good of the group and with an even more altruistic goal in mind, that being to provide assistance to charities and non-profits. While the group is approximately two years old, it’s increasing pace is advancing it closer to its objective due to the recent reformatting and re-introducing itself to the business community by taking their events to the next level. The evening at the Triple Nickel was the perfect fit.
The Pinnacle Group has already established itself as a successful group with some great monthly events including their second annual Charity Golf Outing at Oakhurst Country Club on June 29th, coordinated by original owners George Bowman, Stephan Sadler, Mark Schroeder and Ron Vaughn, even more spectacular gatherings are now further initiated and marketed by John Carlos and Cathleen Francois, owners of www.greeningdetroit.com. With John and Cathleen’s unique marketing and networking skills and commitment to the reformed Pinnacle Group, these monthly events are growing and will certainly catapult Pinnacle Group to greater heights in 2015. Some opportunities are still available for a few more business owners to join Pinnacle and grasp enormous opportunities available through these unique owner-to-owner events.
