Central Michigan University’s Detroit Office will host Automation Alley’s Summer Member Networking event on Aug. 12, 2015, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Attendees will enjoy Detroit-themed refreshments — including Coney dogs, Faygo pop, Sander’s Bumpy Cake and a selection of Michigan beer and wine — while networking with fellow members of Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association.
“Automation Alley is known for great networking events, and our quarterly member networking events are among the most popular,” said Ken Rogers, Automation Alley’s executive director. “This is a great opportunity to meet potential clients, customers and business partners within the Automation Alley community and to learn more about CMU’s programs in downtown Detroit. Gather with us in the heart of what’s happening in the ‘D.’”
The event will kick off with registration, networking and refreshments at 5:30 p.m., followed by welcoming remarks by CMU President Dr. George E. Ross at 6:15 p.m.
The cost to attend is $15 with pre-registration or $20 at the door. This is a members-only event. Admission is free for Foundation Members, but pre-registration is required. Pre-registration closes Aug. 7 at close of business. To register, visit www.automationalley.com or click here. http://www.automationalley.com/Events/Calendar/Event-Detail.aspx?uniqueid=16604
CMU’s Detroit Office is located at 777 Woodward Avenue, Suite 160, in Detroit.
