Henry Ford College’s (HFC) 2016 Globefest event will take place on Wednesday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M), located on the main campus.
Sponsored by the Council of World Cultures (CWC), Globefest is coordinated by the following HFC student clubs: the African American Association, Amnesty International, the Community Service Club, the International Student Organization, the Muslim Student Association, Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Environmental Association and the Yemen Student Association.
A staple of the event is the cuisine. The select countries are Ghana, Egypt, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Brazil, Sweden and India.
Globefest is free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase: $3 per one food station ticket or $5 for three (or more) food station tickets. One ticket is required for each food station. Proceeds from the sale of food will benefit the CWC’s International Student Scholarship.
