GreeningDetroit.com was established in 2006, as a media platform that organizations and individuals use to connect opportunity with innovators for growth of the Green industry. As a virtual town square, it serves as a meeting place, where you can identify and explore synergies to connect people and organization with the resources to create, educate and share best practices for healthy communities.
In addition to GreeningDetroit.com, Cathleen Francois, is Executive Director of the non-profit organization ‘Grass Roots Environment Action Team’ (GREAT) The Grass Roots Environmental Action Team Foundation was created to empower and educate individuals, communities and community organizations, to advocate, create awareness, and to provide mentorship in an effort to produce cleaner, healthier communities and sustainable environments, that protect and improve the health, quality of life and well-being of individuals in our communities.
