The Michigan Department of Natural Resources today announced that the Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, Feb. 16, at the park’s Flynn Pavilion, located near the intersection of Picnic Way and Loiter Way, in Detroit. The public meeting will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.The agenda includes:
- General updates, including law enforcement, infrastructure planning and events.
- Oak Wilt Impact Management Plan update.
- 2017 Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix event.
- Public comments.
The Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee advises the state on implementation of improvements, master planning and public safety for Belle Isle Park.
