Citizen comment sought on policy updates. A key of effective police monitoring is ensuring police procedures and practices receive regular review and updates. The Detroit Police Department is creating or updating policies for Body-Worn Cameras, Civil Assert Forfeiture, and Vehicle Pursuits. The BOPC requires DPD to post drafts at the city’s official website; the three policies now under review also are at the BOPC website.
