BACKGROUND:
The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing $6.7 million to repair and resurface US-24 (Telegraph Road) at Maple Road, northbound US-24 from Long Lake Road to Square Lake Road, and southbound US-24 from Orchard Lake Road to Long Lake Road. The project includes milling pavement, resurfacing, joint repairs, concrete pavement repairs, drainage structure repairs, and pavement markings. Work is expected to begin in August and be completed in November.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:
At least two lanes will remain open on weekdays during construction, with access maintained to all businesses. There will be some weekend work requiring more lane closures and will be announced in advance.
