Benzinga, a leading news source for investors in cannabis, will host an exclusive Michigan Cannabis Business Roundtable to provide a forum for investors and Michigan cannabis operators to network and find the capital the cannabis industry needs to accelerate growth. The Roundtable will take place November 9th in Benzinga’s downtown Detroit office.
“Benzinga is a proven connector of investors and top cannabis operators,” said Jason Raznick, Benzinga CEO. “Since Michigan’s cannabis industry poses such huge opportunities for investors—it has the largest pre-registered patient registry in the country—we want to be proactive in creating connections that will make this industry a success and create jobs here.”
Michiganders voted decisively to support a ballot initiative legalizing the sale of cannabis in the state, and the Benzinga Michigan Cannabis Business Roundtable offers investors the first opportunity to survey investments in the newest legal cannabis market in the U.S.
Michael Elias, CEO of Michigan Pure Med, a leading medical cannabis company, will offer remarks to attendees. LARA director Shelly Edgerton and leading cannabis legal experts Roma Thurin and Michael Komorn will also address attendees.
Benzinga hosted the Cannabis Capital Conference in Toronto in August, which hosted 600 investors and entrepreneurs as they gathered to build connections that will power the North American cannabis space. The company seeks to provide those connections to investors and entrepreneurs in its home state of Michigan with the Cannabis Business Roundtable.
Those interested in registering to attend the Roundtable may do so here. Eligible investors may qualify for free registration and may apply to attend by emailing bzcannabis@benzinga.com.
