Green Team Coalition, LLC now offers a new Lighting Efficiency Assessment & Financial Services (LEAFS) program that conforms to new lighting standards and regulations and maximizes client savings.
To introduce the new program, GTC is hosting a free educational seminar on new lighting standards and regulations Wednesday, February 15 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Electrical Industry Training Center at 2277 E. 11 Mile Road, Warren, MI.
“It’s possible to save vast amounts of money by upgrading facilities with energy-efficient lighting products, taking advantage of local utility rebates as well as federal incentives,” Diana Nash, President of Green Team Coalition, said. “But studies have shown that using an independent energy consultant, like Green Team Coalition, realizes additional savings of up to 40%.”
The educational seminar will feature Eric Hansel, Vice President of Strategic Lighting Solutions for Green Team Coalition. Eric has over seventeen years of experience in the lighting industry, is widely regarded as a Lighting Retrofit Expert and has served as Lighting Subject Matter Expert for Ford Motor Company, Lighting Consultant to DTE Energy, and Director of Retrofit Sales for numerous other companies.
“The event will cover how facilities can benefit by leveraging the expertise of an independent lighting consultant whose purpose is to identify the best lighting solutions, with no particular product loyalty,” Hansel said.
Event topics include:
- Sifting through LED and other new lighting technologies and products
- Case studies of retrofit projects and missed energy-savings opportunities
- The DOE’s new LED lighting program for municipal street lighting
- The importance of understanding and using IESNA, ASHRAE and other lighting standards
- The benefits of an Independent Lighting Consultant
- Financing options for energy efficiency projects
