The Henry Ford College (HFC) Culinary Arts Dept. will host its annual spring bake sale on Wednesday, March 23, and Thursday, Nov. 24, in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M) on the main campus. The times are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7:45 p.m. on both days.
Desserts and breads prepared by HFC culinary students will be available on a first-come/first-serve basis during the bake sale. The following baked items will be on sale:
- Decorated carrot cake log @ $12;
- Seven Brothers cake (seven layers of chocolate almond cake and chocolate butter cream) @ $14;
- Fifty-One O One vanilla cheesecake @ $12;
- Fifty-One O One cheesecake with cherries @ $14;
- Fifty-One O One cheesecake with fresh strawberries @ $15;
- Lemon poppy seed pound cake @ $4;
- Zucchini quick bread @ $4;
- Braided challa bread @ $3;
- Raisin challa bread @ $4;
- Hot cross buns @ $6; and
- Soft dinner rolls (per dozen) @ $3.50.
