Promote recycling and waste reduction by operating an independent, non-profit site for collecting, sorting, consolidating and transporting recyclables.

Description of Organization

Recycle Livingston is an independent nonprofit organization that is operated mostly by volunteers. It is a recycling drop-off site that is open to the public. Recycle Livingston is also active in the community and participates in environmental events. There are no residency requirements. There is a $3 gate fee for nonmembers. Annual memberships are available for $30 for a regular household and $25 for a senior household (62 or older). Free memberships are available for volunteers willing to put in 10 site days of service. We are open one day per week: Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for some of the major holiday weekends. Also, we hold a monthly drawing for our volunteers to express our gratitude.
