Rochester Hills MI – January 28, 2016 – The Rochester Hills Brewing Company at 400 Water St. in Rochester Hills is the venue to be at tonight for glimpses of the many impressive civil servants to back life long attorney and firefighter Michael Goetz as the next Oakland County Prosecutor.
The line-ups of hosts include: from Oakland County, Executive L. Brooks Patterson and Commissioner Adam Kochenderfer, Chair Mike Gingell, as well as State Congressman Mike Bishop, Senator Mike Kowall, Representatives Jim Tedder and Brad Jacobsen, as well as Orion Township Supervisor Chris Barnett.
Goetz current role as a senior assistant under Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, has him assigned to the criminal division public integrity section. He’s also an on-call firefighter for the Orion Township Fire Department.
Goetz has experience with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office as well, having served as an assistant prosecutor there from April 2002 to August 2013, prosecuting murder cases and other major crimes while assigned to the Oakland County Violent Gang Task Force.
A native of Beverly Hills Michigan and graduate of Birmingham Brother Rice High School, he now lives in Lake Orion with his wife Lin and 11 – year old son. Among his memberships of various civic organizations are the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Knights of Columbus.
“Mike will actively pursue difficult prosecutions where children and the elderly are targets,” states a press release from the campaign.
The fundraising event will take place at 5:30 this evening with a suggested minimum donation of $100.00.
