MICHIGAN BUSINESSES START NEW CAMPAIGN TO KEEP THE SUPPLY CHAIN MOVING – HELP US DISINFECT UP TO 100 SEMI-TRACTORS IN MICHIGAN EVERY WEEKEND FOR A MONTH!
Michelle L. Anderson, President of Lovelogical – DNA NOT REQUIRED®, like all of us, is worried about her loved ones, but hers is a special case. Her ex-husband, Marcus Anderson, has been an over the road trucker for over 20 years, so she fully understands the life of the people who continue to run our supply chains during this crisis.
Many TRUCKERS HAVE NOT STOPPED RUNNING DURING COVID-19 to assure their family’s and yours are taken care of – THEY DESERVE TO BE CONSIDERED FRONT-LINE WORKERS ALONG WITH HEALTHCARE AND PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL.
What used to be their daily routine has become one of constant concern – showering at truck-stops, using public laundry facilities, interacting with strangers while loading and unloading freight – they literally bring their home with them, sleeping inside of the truck and dining where-ever they can.
To keep Marcus safe, Anderson reached out to Facility Engineering, LLC to have his cabin disinfected. “I know the positive effects of fogging houses, commercial buildings, and vehicles.” Facility Engineering, LLC helped create a campaign and has managed the fogging of over 750 law enforcement and fire safety vehicles, and is working with over 40 municipalities, within Southeast Michigan for the last month. The fogging process uses products chemically proven as effective killers and growth inhibitors of numerous pathogenic bacteria and viruses, such as H1N1, Staph, MRSA, and Coronavirus, and covers ceiling to floor, 360 degrees!
“I trusted them with our truck, so why not disinfect others too!,” states Anderson.
SO THE DECISION WAS MADE TO CREATE A NEW CAMPAIGN:
Offer a Truckstop location every Saturday for a month…
The businesses teamed up and are asking the public to donate to help DISINFECT the inside of TRUCKERS CABS, which is their work and living spaces. THIS IS A SAFE, EPA FRIENDLY WAY TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BACTERIAL OR VIRAL GROWTH WITHIN THEIR TRUCKS.

“We are making sure we reach as many trucks and their drivers as possible, as quickly as possible”, states Cathleen Francois, COO of Facility Engineering. “This stop is just the beginning – we will be working on finding another truck stop to sponsor their space, time, and add their support to the truckers who support them and their businesses. We would love to work with any other companies to sponsor this as well. These individuals don’t make much by the way of income – they do it because they have a passion for the job, and it’s one we all rely upon.”
EVERY SUNDAY THE NEXT LOCATION(S) WILL BE ANNOUNCED on go fund me; Lovelogical-DNA NOT REQUIRED® Facebook and Instagram; Greening Michigan and Greening Detroit Websites and Social Media sites.
“We really wanted to start as soon as possible. The timeframe between now and the first event does not allow sufficient time to reach out for corporate donations, but we would love to have them if there’s any that can support us.”
