Electric vehicles (EVs) charging stations are made for two different types of voltage systems: the battery electric vehicle (BEV) and the plug in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Charging stations types are the 240v and 480v filler. The 240v is commonly used for residential applications. The 480v is design to for the commercial market and normally accessible at gas stations. Pervious Paving
In the making of pervious concrete the lack of, or minimal use of, sand creates voids in the concrete. A system of these voids make the concrete permeable so water can drain through it much more quickly than regular concrete. This helps reduce stormwater runoff and replenish groundwater. The one downside is that pervious concrete is weaker than the traditional concrete option. However, for low traffic areas like driveways, this should not be an issue.
