Company Description
The Isaiah Project is a faith-based program whose mission is to mentor the youth of Detroit using innovative, results-based techniques to increase each student’s skills in the areas of reading, math, social studies, science and communications. We give them a strong sense of dedication to education and show them the worlds it opens to them. We encourage a knowledge of and respect for God through prayer and community service.
Our six-week tutoring program is based at Saint Timothy United Methodist. Church, 15888 Archdale (corner of Puritan). Classes are Monday through. Thursday, 2 pm TO 6pm. With donations from parents, which decrease the cost of books and teaching materials, and snacks. Our next six-week session starts April 26, 2014, and ends June 13, 2014.
Summer sessions start June 23, 2014 at 11am-1pm, until August 1, 2014 Monday though Thursday, Fridays are community service days, family days, trip days. We also have a Food Pantry, which operate out of St. Timothy United Methodist Church at 15888 Archdlae, Det,i every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. We are a pending 501(c)3.
