Detroit is the 16th District in North America and the second District in Michigan, following Grand Rapids. The Detroit 2030 District encompasses all buildings in the downtown and midtown areas.
2030 Districts are private-public partnerships which work together to assist building owners and property managers to meet the goals of the 2030 Architecture Challenge which is to reduce energy consumption, water consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from transportation in our commercial core by 2030.
