CARE of Southeastern Michigan’s mission is to strengthen resiliency in people and their communities through prevention, education, and services that improve the quality of life. Each year we impact the lives of over 20,000 people through 45 different programs and services.
Through our 40 year history, CARE has provided education and support to parents in the community through our parenting classes and workshops, educated our youth on the dangers of the alcohol and drug abuse, assisted individuals in accessing treatment and maintaining recovery through peer recovery coaching, case management and assessments, provided traumatic response counseling to local schools and businesses, and provided a variety of educational programs aimed strengthening resilience.
CARE is considered a regional leader in the provision of high quality substance abuse, mental health, family, and employee assistance programming. The organization provides programming in three core service areas: Clinical Programs, Prevention and Community Programs, and Employee Assistance. Each service is designed to provide supportive services to address mental health, substance abuse, family crisis, and community needs
