Organization’s Description

The Rivertown Detroit Association is made up of business owners, residents and interested individuals who are focused on making Rivertown Detroit better for all.

Established in May of 2010, the Rivertown Detroit Association is focused on making the Rivertown Detroit area (East Jefferson Ave. x Belle Isle (MacArthur Bridge) x Renaissance Center x the Detroit River a better place to work and live. We provide a forum for networking and communicating what is happening in the area, allowing all to get to know each other. We support the feed the homeless program, scholarships for the local high school, working with the city to “Light the Lights” on all streets, Clean & Safe programs, coordinated efforts with Riverfront Conservancy, Downtown Detroit’s Partnership, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and the Detroit Police Department to improve the infrastructure of the area and the economic health or Rivertown. We received the “Spirit of Detroit” Award in our first year as an association for our efforts–we were honored and flattered to receive it.

The Rivertown Detroit Association welcomes all to our monthly meetings. No cost to join just bring your time, talent and interest to Rivertown Detroit.  All are welcome.  Please visit our website and Facebook sites for more information and photos. Hope you will join us.
