Sustainable Water Works is a nonprofit organization building a network of collaborative partners committed to sustainable water public policy, innovative products and new businesses in Michigan.

Sustainable Water Works is dedicated to ensuring there is clean, abundant and affordable water for communities and businesses in Michigan and the Great Lakes region. We have launched two major initiatives. The Business Forum to bring together academic, business, utility, NGO and government stakeholders to support sustainable water development. The Innovation Factory, located in Detroit’s TechTown, is a virtual ideation and design studio supporting water researchers and inventors to turn great ideas into robust products and new businesses. Sustainable Water Works is active in Great Lakes restoration, Detroit urban farming and green infrastructure projects.
