CARE - RIDE 4 RECOVERYThere’s no doubt the sun shines on CARE of Southeastern Michigan’s Ride 4 Recovery; there’s not been a day of rain since the event started 5 years ago.

With an average of 230 riders each year, the non-profit considers the Annual Ride For Recovery is one of their biggest and most successful fundraisers.

“Ride 4 Recovery honors the 62,000 people that have lost their lives to addiction and the 24 million people that are in recovery.  We are hear to raise awareness and shatter the stigma attached to addiction”, states Executive Director, Monique Stanton. “We continue to grow with great sponsors, supporters and this year there seems to be a whole lot more awareness about addiction, recovery and our services.”More

CARE of Southeast Michigan Celebrates Its Anniversary By Honoring Others

Over 230 attendees were greeted by the complimentary valet service escorted by umbrellaed attendees into the reception area of the GM Heritage Center on the evening of June 20, 2017 for the CARE for a Taste 40th Anniversary Celebration. 

The room was filled with the warm smiles and various splendid food and drink displayed and offered by 24 various restaurants, caterers, and banquet halls, enticing guests to partake in everything from fresh salads and gourmet cheeses to decadent and healthy desert options.More

The evening starts at 6:00 p.m. and feature signature dishes from Michigan’s most notable restaurants and raffles while showcasing our 40 years of history.Guests will enjoy sample bites from Michigan’s tastiest restaurants, and a special program sharing our stories of success and impact, and honoring some of our greatest supporters. The General Motors Heritage Center is a remarkable venue, showcasing more than 165 General Motors vehicles from their Heritage Collection.More

Saturday, September 24th, 2016 was the perfect day to be at Lake Saint Clair Metropark for at least three reasons: First, the weather couldn’t possibly have been more perfect to be outside. Second, “Metro Beach” is one of the largest, greatest beaches and metroparks in the entire region. But the most important reason was the opportunity to bike 2, 10, 25, 40, or 62 miles (in a metric century) as a fund-raising event for CARE of Southeastern Michigan.

CARE of Southeastern Michigan and Century Sponsors Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals, McLaren Macomb, Kosch Dining Solutions, Macomb NOW Magazine, Detroit Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix, UAW GM Hydrofest Detroit, and Edsel & Eleanor Ford House are excited to announce the 4th Annual Bike PATH: RIDE FOR RECOVERY. Since 2013, Bike PATH has been “Breaking the Cycle of Addiction” one mile at a time. This year’s event offers cyclists, volunteers and attendees more to do and more to love than ever! “As a health care provider, there is nothing more important to us than the health of our community,” said Kelley Lovati, community relations coordinator at McLaren Macomb. “CARE shares this sentiment and  has created fun and lively events like BIKE Path help to accomplish this goal.
