Parjana® Distribution attended the Skoll World Forum, which took place from April 13-15 in Oxford, United Kingdom. Greg McPartlin, CEO of Parjana® Distribution was honored to attend this conference, which was invitation only and only 1,000 people were selected and invited to attend.
At the event, innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems were discussed and presentations were given by Al Gore and Mary Robinson, President of the Mary Robinson Foundation and Former President of Ireland.
Through this event, one important take away was that the only way to solve the world’s most difficult challenges, such as water and food, is for everyone to be collaborative and open with the work they co-create.
While Parjana® Distribution has had a lot of success in making itself known in the Detroit community, the Skoll World Forum was a huge achievement for us to go global. The event was a great way for Parjana® Distribution to network with entrepreneurial leaders from all over the world and explain how it has created a paradigm shift in how the world manages water. Additionally, the small company has already achieved global success by completing 40 full-scale high visibility commercial installations in the UK.
Through this event, Parjana® Distribution’s objective was to raise awareness about how its technology, known as the Energy-passive Groundwater Recharge Product (EGRP®) is able to stabilize the moisture level within the soil to mitigate the extremes between flooding and droughts. This allows the soil to naturally infiltrate water and mitigate surface water, which helps prevent water diseases such as malaria and cholera.
“We have now established more awareness internationally and we believe much bigger things are in store for Parjana® Distribution’s future,” said Greg McPartlin. “Parjana® Distribution believes that by collectively creating a paradigm shift in global water management that will change the food supply, water supply, and the human population. This thought is what drives the Parjana® Distribution team every day.”
