Burroughs sponsorship at the Green Street Fair is focused on a “Flip Your Lid” program with Plymouth-based Bird Elementary School. Prior to the event, students will collect plastic lids of all colors, shapes and sizes to create oversized flowers for placement during the upcoming weekend around Plymouth’s Kellogg Park. In addition, attendees will be encouraged to help develop a special Flip Your Lid mural to eventually be placed at Bird Elementary School to remind young students of the environmental responsibility. “Many of our employees will be in attendance the event, and I look forward to personally discussing with students and others Burroughs’ passion for the environment,” said Howard.
