The Macomb County Chamber Green Committee hosts the All Things Green Conference and Expo Wednesday, March 30th at the IBEW-NECA Electrical Industry Training Center in Warren. The event, focused on Green Innovation and Sustainability Best Practices will feature industry leaders as part of presentations and panel discussions throughout the day. Registrations will be taken at the door.
Included in this year’s program is an increased focus on Electric Vehicles, General Motors will display three Volt vehicles at the Expo, as well as, an exhibit featuring the future of Fuel Cell technology. Bosch Rexroth Group will display and discuss the benefits of their new Hydraulic Hybrid CNG Refuse Truck which reduces fuel consumption. Other exhibitors will feature a range of Alternative Energy products and services to assist businesses in their efforts toward energy consumption reduction and sustainability.

The IBEW-NECA Electrical Industry Training Center, 2277 E. 11 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan, is a privately funded facility that provides Apprentice and Continuing Education for Electrical Workers and Electrical Contractors is Southeastern Michigan. The facility features a wind turbine and solar array used primarily for training purposes, which also provide a modest contribution to reducing the fossil fuel consumption of the facility.
