The Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) will hold public meetings at three locations during June 2011 to receive comments on its draft state plan. The final state plan, which specifies provisions for the delivery of MCB services to its blind clients, will be submitted to the commissioner of the federal Rehabilitation Services Administration in July.

The deadline for submitting comments on the draft state plan is 3:00 p.m., June 27, 2011. All of the meeting sites are accessible. Individuals attending the meetings are requested to refrain from using heavily scented personal care products in order to enhance accessibility for everyone.
