Looking to buy a slice of Michigan?
The Department of Natural Resources is offering 45 parcels of state-owned land for sale by sealed-bid auction. The parcels have been identified by the department as surplus land and range in size from less than an acre to 120 acres. The bulk of the properties are located in the Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Michigan.
Sealed bids must be postmarked by midnight on August 8th and will be opened on August 17th. There is a minimum bid for each parcel.
