August 23-25th, Tuesday through Thursday, Arts & Scraps is being featured in Groupon Detroit. G-Team, their community outreach program is coming to Detroit and Arts & Scraps is the first recipient.
Groupon subscribers can click to sponsor participants in parent/child workshops in underserved families. We talk about positive interaction and play using recycled materials from around the house. Then parents and children each create a project with our industrial recycled materials and shop for a bag on the ScrapMobile.
G-Team is entertaining proposals from any Detroit area nonprofit for fundraising and events.
