As The Battery Show kicked off, the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi was the place to be. This event was paired with the Automotive Testing and the Engine Expo. GreeningDetroit.com was a media sponsor for this event, and as it is said, they saved the best for last. This event took place at the end of October, but was worth the wait.
The Battery Show alone had over 160 exhibitors, all involving batteries, from cells to software.
Advanced Battery Concepts, out of Clare, Michigan, has developed GreenSeal battery technology, which improves the performance and functionality of rechargeable batteries.
Howell, Michigan based Battery Solutions was exhibiting battery recycling kits as well as offering battery recycling solutions for the residential, government and business sectors.
Magna E-Car Systems, a joint venture with Magna International and the Stronach Trust, opened their latest testing facility for hybrid and electric vehicle systems in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Michigan companies are definitely in the battery business and are here to stay.
