We all know that the month of December is notorious for destroying efforts to eat healthy…and who can blame you, with all of the 4T’s (tasty treats that temp) out during family and company parties!
This year lets make it a little easier to stay on track by creating your own 4T’s that arn’t just empty calorie laden junk food, instead they’re full of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants! With the right combination of cacao powder, goji berries, chia seeds, and hulled hemp seeds, you can create something that will have everyone at the party asking “Who brought this? It’s Awesome!”
Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients:
- ½ cup peanut butter or other nut butter
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 4 Tbsp cacao powder
- 2 Tbsp maca powder
- ¼ cup honey (or agave)
Directions:
- Mix nut butter and oil till well combined
- Add the rest of the ingredients and refrigerate for 1 hour
- Roll into balls
- Roll balls in hulled hemp seed or shredded coconut
- Top with goji berry or pieces of dried orange peel
