Creswick Farms
This small, local family farm in Ravenna offers all-natural, pastured, and hormone- and antibiotic-free jumbo and large brown eggs. Creswick’s happy hens are raised in harmony with nature and allowed to roam freely and forage on grasses, bugs, and worms, which leads to healthier land and animals along with nutritionally superior eggs.
Green Meadow
If you’re looking for an organic option, try thecertified-organic, cage-free eggs from Green Meadow in Saranac. The Herbruck family, who has been supplying Michigan with eggs since 1958, runs this “poultry ranch” that’s certified by the American Humane Association as well as Humane Farm Animal Care, which guarantees that the chickens have ample space, shelter, fresh water, and healthy, quality feed. The hens here are never given antibiotics or hormones.
