The first annual Grosse Pointe Live Green Fair, Saturday April 21 and Sunday April 22 will offer Metro Detroit’s simple and valuable information from more than 60 exhibitors on how to live a greener, more sustainable lifestyle.
Hosted by Grosse Pointe North High, 707 Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, the fair will be open from 10 am to 7 pm Saturday April 21 and 12 pm to 5 pm Sunday April 22. Admission is just $5.00 for adults with free admission for children under 12 and also free for any student with valid school ID.
The Live Green Fair will offer plenty of ideas on how to save money on energy bills by installing super-insulated windows, doors, siding and roofs, home insulation, energy-efficient furnaces, water heaters, and air conditioners—plus all kinds of green technologies including solar, wind and geothermal power generation.
The Live Green Fair will also offer natural soaps, vitamins, supplements and natural skin care items for purchase. Plus Patio Furniture made from recycled plastic, wickless candles, art made from recycled materials, organic lollypops, plus free tastes for guests including organic roasted almonds and kettle korn, and nitrate-free beef.
